Terms of Use
2026-10-07This service is a booking tool that clinics, beauty salons and similar businesses in Korea use to take appointments directly. The treatment or service itself is provided by the business; this service only passes along your booking.
1. What this service is
This is a tool for making and managing appointments. All medical care, diagnosis, prescription, treatment and beauty services are provided by the clinic or salon you book.
This service does not charge a booking commission.
2. About translation (important)
Treatment names and descriptions may include machine-translated text, which can differ in meaning from the original.
The final treatment details, scope, price, and precautions must be confirmed with the business at your visit, and that confirmation is the business’s responsibility.
This service is not liable for misunderstandings or losses arising from translation errors.
3. Prices and payment
Prices shown are reference prices registered by the business and may differ from the amount actually charged.
Foreign currency amounts are for reference only. Payment is made in Korean won (KRW) at the exchange rate applicable at the time of payment.
No payment is taken through this service. You pay the business directly.
4. When a booking is made
Your booking is registered once you complete email verification.
The business may adjust or cancel a booking due to closures or professional judgment.
You can cancel your booking yourself using the link in your confirmation email.
No-shows, lateness and cancellations are handled under each business’s own policy; this service does not charge customers any penalty.
5. Limitation of liability
The business is responsible for the outcome of treatments and services, their results, and any side effects.
This service is not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or network failures.
6. Business subscription, cancellation and refunds
This section applies only to businesses using the service. People who make bookings never pay anything to this service.
The subscription is KRW 90,000 per month, tax included, with no per-booking commission. The first two months from the day you register a card are free. From the day after the free period ends, the registered card is charged automatically on the same day each month. Your booking page does not open until a card is registered.
If you choose yearly billing, the subscription is KRW 770,000 per year, tax included. The free period is the same two months; on the day after it ends, the full year is charged at once and covers one year from that day. After that, the card is charged on the same day every year. You can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time under Billing in the admin, and the change applies from the next payment date. Periods already paid for stay as they are, and no difference is settled.
Seven days before each charge, we email the business with the exact amount and date. Cancelling before that date means the next payment is not charged.
You can cancel yourself in the admin screen under Billing, or email hello@mediseat.kr. There is no penalty and no cancellation fee. After cancelling, the service remains available until the end of the period already paid for (or the free period), and nothing more is charged. You can undo the cancellation before that date.
Fees are paid by card, so no separate Korean tax invoice (세금계산서) is issued; the card sales slip serves as the VAT receipt.
Fees already charged are generally not refunded. We do refund in full if the request is made within 7 days of the charge and one of the following applies: (1) a failure on our side made normal use impossible; (2) the same period was charged twice by mistake; (3) MediSeat applied the free period incorrectly and you were charged as a result. Not receiving bookings is not a reason for a refund.
Cancelling partway through a monthly or yearly period does not produce a pro-rated refund. Instead, the service stays available until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunds are issued by cancelling the original card authorisation, accepted within 3 business days of the request. Depending on the card issuer, it may take a further 3 to 5 business days to appear on the statement.
For any question about billing or refunds, write to hello@mediseat.kr.
7. Business obligations
The business is responsible for holding the licences, registrations and permits required to provide its treatments or services, and for complying with applicable laws (such as the Medical Service Act, the Public Hygiene Control Act and advertising regulations).
Treatment names, descriptions, prices and opening hours registered by the business must be accurate, and the business is responsible for what it registers.
Services that are not permitted by law cannot be booked through this service, and MediSeat may restrict such bookings or suspend the account.
Procedures that may constitute medical acts, such as semi-permanent makeup or tattooing, may be booked only where permitted by law (for example, when performed by a licensed medical practitioner); the business is responsible for that determination.
